Teaching

My primary goal as a teacher is to instill in my students a meaningful and lasting connection to the art of piano playing. In my lessons, I work with students of all ages on developing a natural and flexible approach to the instrument while exploring a wide variety of repertoire and styles.

 

I believe it is the responsibility of the teacher to awaken and enhance a student's desire to make music, and my approach is guided by my respect for each student's unique talents and interests.  In addition to my private studio in New York, I teach at the 92nd Street Y School of Music, Concordia Conservatory, and Mannes Prep at the New School.
